5,000 Santa Clarita Valley homeowners who had filed a lawsuit against a number of Southern California homebuilders alleging that faulty pipes caused corrosion and damage ot their homes, agreed Friday to accept $41 million to settle.
The homeowners asserted that the builders had installed galvanized steel pipes that easily corroded in their homes. The corrosion caused leaky roofs and brown drinking water.
The firm of Quisenberry & Kabateck were one of 2 firms representing the Santa Clarita Valley residents.
