Dawson v. Allstate Insurance Company
The Dawsons’ home was damaged by severe weather when a tree in front of their home was hit by lightening and pieces of the tree flew through their home. Wind and rain then caused water to enter the home through the holes caused by the flying tree fragments. After making a claim to Allstate for the damage to their home, Allstate refused to fully cover the repairs to the home. After filing a lawsuit, the firm was able to successfully settle the case on behalf of the Dawsons.
