Doe Doctors v. Roe Health Care
The firm represented the plaintiff, a company which provided thousands of doctors and medical clinics as purchasers of medical supplies under a group purchasing plan managed by the defendant. At stake were several million dollars in royalties on purchases which continued to be made after the initial contract term expired. On the eve of trial, the defendant agreed to a settlement of over $5,000,000, representing the full amount of the royalties.
