Marilyn Manson v. St. Paul Ins. Co
An acquaintance of Marilyn Manson, a young woman, left the entertainer’s home in a car driven by a friend. After arriving at her own home, she got in her own car, rolled it, and was killed. Her mother brought suit against Marilyn Manson, who successfully defended against her allegation that the accident was caused by him. This firm brought suit on Marilyn Manson’s behalf against St. Paul Ins. Co. which had refused to pay for the attorney’s fees and costs Marilyn Manson incurred in his defense. Shortly before trial, St. Paul agreed to settle the case.
